The idea was sound take a smattering of hook-laden recent hit and semi-hit songs licensed from the original labels, lay 'em down on a shiny vinyl platter creating an instant greatest hits album, buy some cheap air time on local television stations, sell direct to the customer cutting out the brick and mortar middlemen, and rake in the do-re-mi/5(6).

"Baby, Now That I've Found You" is a song written by Tony Macaulay and John MacLeod. Part of the song was written in the same bar of a Soho tavern where Karl Marx is supposed to have written Das Kapital. The lyrics are a plea that an unnamed subject not break up with the singer.

Best Of The Sixties. I like this cd as it has some great songs that are hard to find in any normal and contemporary 60's cd. These songs such as 'Go Now' by Moody Blues, 'Johnny Remember Me' by John Leyton, 'Catch The Wind' by Donovan and David & Jonathan 'Lovers of the world unite' were the songs that made me buy it, as I am an avid 60's music fan.

owning, every now and then there is a definite 'must-own' if you collect memories from those magical times, have to say, this is one that fits that description, it really is, pretty much packed with genuine smash hits. Of course as is the case with many of these compilations they have almost certainly been released at an earlier.
