This is the same car as the one you bought me. Two different cars are being referenced here: the car in front of us now is the same kind of car (most likely the same make and model) as a different car that you bought for me in the past.

Nov 10,  · [1] She is the same age as I am. In [2] "as" functions as a preposition, so an [u]object pronoun[/u[ is required, [2] She is the same age as me. The possessive pronoun "mine" doesn't work. [3] is ungrammatical. [3] She is the same age as *mine. All the best.

Oct 20,  · SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME is based on the inspiring true story of international art dealer Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear), who befriends a homeless man (Djimon Hounsou) in 40%(10).

May 16,  · The key to the meaning is the omitted but understood as phrase: It is the same with Mary. = The situation is the same with Mary (as with John). Compared with you, I have the same dreams. = (If I am) compared with you, (I see that we are similar in that) I have the same dreams (as you do). The preposition with does not play the role of subordinating conjunction.

You want the same as her, you want the same as him, and you want exactly the same as me. Tu vuoi la stessa cosa di lei, la stessa cosa di lui ed esattamente la stessa cosa di me. The two halves contain two phrases from the same song "Live forever"; they are "Maybe you're the same as me" and "We see things they'll never see".

Dec 27,  · I would naturally say "same as me" (I'm almost 70) 0 0 1. Login to reply the answers Post; not2blonde. 3 years ago "Same as I." There is a sort of "silent verb," if you will, at the end of the sentence. You would be saying the same thing by saying, "Same as I am.".
