"Space Dementia" was originally intended to be the final song in Origin of Symmetry. The heavy guitar outro section was recorded seperately and intended to contrast the piano. The band originally wanted to increase the low-frequency sounds at the end below the levels of human hearing to an illegal level. H8.

Origin of Muse is a box set by the English rock band Muse, released on 6 December through Muse's Helium 3 label and Warner Records. It includes remastered editions of Muse's first two albums, Showbiz () and Origin of Symmetry (), as well as B-sides, demos, and live performances from their early career.

From the insanity driven 'Space Dementia' to the bold & brash 'Darkshines' 'Origin Of Symmetry' is a raw emotional roller-coaster that could be considered some of Muse's best work and is some of the most creative hard rock to come out of the South West.

Oct 26,  · "Origin of Symmetry" by Muse took me a few listens to see how fun and experimental this album really is. This album was released in and this is Muse's sophomore effort. I don't have their debut album yet so I can't say if "Origin of Symmetry" is stronger or weaker than "Showbiz".

Origin of Symmetry came first about through the changes Muse underwent during their intensive touring in promotion of Showbiz, with a lot of material written whilst touring. However, this album is more riff orientated and slightly darker than Showbiz, containing several songs which use piano or organ.
